Magic Moments Pediatric Therapy

Services

We treat a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, Autism, down syndrome, developmental delay, sensory processing, ADD/ADHD, speech and language disorders, cerebral palsy, TBI, stroke, generalized weakness, etc.

  • Occupational therapists (OTs) are professionals focused on achieving independence in all areas of their clients’ lives. They help children with physical, sensory, or cognitive delays to become as independent as possible. Common interventions that we address with children are functional play, social skills, self-care, fine motor skills, sensory processing, gross motor skills, and visual perceptual skills.

  • Feeding disorders (including oral motor and oral sensory issues)

    Articulation (sound production)

Receptive language skills (understanding and following directions)

Expressive language skills (putting words together, naming objects and talking about events)

    Pragmatics (social skills)

Fluency (speed of speech and stuttering)

  • The Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding also know as the SOS Feeding Approach helps children begin to eat a variety of foods, textures, and enjoy meal time. This approach helps children who are struggling to eat a variety of foods and textures. They are typically considered "picky eaters" or "problem feeders." We can assist with sensory aversions, difficulty chewing or swallowing, and limited food repertoire. We assist in taking the struggle out of eating and make meal times a fun family event.
